✓ Sustainable tourism

By enabling nomad families to benefit from stable income and integrating local sourcing into our tours and camps, we support local economies while also promoting cultural preservation and environmental sustainability. Collaborating with like-minded organizations further enhances our impact by creating job opportunities and income streams. This approach not only enriches travelers' experiences but also ensures that tourism contributes positively to the communities it engages with.
We are proud to announce that we have more than 20 families that work with us together from different places in Morocco, so we are sure that the tourism we are making is helping the locals, especially the Nomads, since life in the desert is not easy but beautiful and happy. And because there are not many job opportunities in the Sahara—and even climate change doesn't help—and the situation with the dromedaries and goats gets harder and harder. So this is why we think at Bivouac Les Nomades that it is urgent to think of another solution to keep nomadic life. Tourism could be the best saver, since the nomads will have another source of life to support the family and bring food for the herds.
